An interview with Wasim Alshadadi, InfiniteUp’s Chief Product Officer and Cofounder
“As Chief Product Officer at InfiniteUp, my role is to ensure we have an effective and efficient product development process. I oversee design, user testing, new feature implementation, and product launches. My background in UI/UX design paired with my co-founder’s skills in backend development allowed us to build our first app with no prior coding experience. Now, leveraging low-code development enables us to bring products to market faster than ever before.”
“To truly understand what users want, we employ qualitative research like user interviews and observation. This ethnographic approach provides insight into how target users think about and interact with our products. We combine this empathy-driven understanding with usage analytics to make data-informed decisions, iteratively evolving the product experience.”
“Continuous user feedback is critical to our process. After each round of research, we discuss findings as a team, decide what to build next, and update our task management system accordingly. With feedback loops built into the entire team’s consciousness, we keep users top of mind throughout development.“
“Our low-code platform allows non-developers like myself to build fully functional features visually. I can prototype and test ideas without writing code, enabling greater collaboration across disciplines. Recently, we even iterated and launched updates while users were in-app, thanks to our modular, low-code architecture.”
“Regular syncs, automated meeting notes, and persistent communication channels like ClickUp help us work cohesively when remote. One-on-ones also foster alignment and connection within the team.”
“Assumptions about user needs are often wrong. Direct observation and research are essential to truly understand preferences. With low-code’s speed, we can take an iterative, data-driven approach to product evolution.”
“Low-code will become a core developer tool, freeing them to focus on complex problems and innovation. At InfiniteUp, it will enable us to continuously redefine and improve the developer role.”
