Share while you add it. Type the thing, tap Invite, add an email. Or copy a link and paste it into WhatsApp, Messages or email.

They choose. Nothing appears on their board until they accept. If they never do, it stays yours.
It stays theirs, too. Shared work does not vanish if you leave. Hand over a step, or the whole thing.
Try it with your own thing. Invite the person who always says "just tell me what to do" to one thing, and assign them the first step.
